Job Responsibilities

As a Construction Materials Testing Technician in Sarasota, FL, your key duties include:

• Performing field observations at various job sites
• Sampling and testing construction materials like soil, aggregates, concrete, and more
• Preparing daily logs of inspections and test results
• Communicating project progress with managers

Minimum Requirements

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record
• Ability to lift up to 60-80 pounds and work outdoors in various conditions
• Attention to safety, detail, and effective communication skills
• Basic math skills and familiarity with measurement tools
• Use of tablets and MS Office; ability to interpret plans and specifications with training

Preference for candidates with certifications like ACI, NICET, or WACEL.
