Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a Construction Manager for Naples, FL to oversee daily trade partner activities, review drawings, and manage project schedules to ensure on-time home delivery. You will coordinate safety, quality, and customer communications across stages of construction.

Responsibilities include inspecting sites, negotiating field PO's, and collaborating with sales and procurement to maintain budget and schedule integrity. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Proficient in reading blueprints.
• General knowledge of municipal permitting and regulations.
• General knowledge of building codes.
• Knowledge of construction-related scheduling software.
• Basic computer literacy.

• Ability to control cost overruns and manage a budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities and evaluate the quality and efficiency of their work.
• Review and request modifications to construction drawings when plan errors or conflicts arise.
• Evaluate project schedules and update and determine appropriate modifications to project schedules and resources to reflect the project's needs to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure each home is complete on schedule and that all contract obligations and safety protocols are satisfied.
• Manage the customer experience throughout the construction process, including regular communications and negotiating solutions to concerns.
• Interact with Community Sales personnel to manage community performance and customer activities.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure site safety and compliance with regulations.
• Negotiate, create, and authorize field purchase orders for materials and labor resources.
• Inspect trade partner workmanship and authorize payments when standards are met.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Process Improvement, and Purchasing teams to address plan quality and budgetary challenges.
• Evaluate trade partner work for code compliance and company standards.
• Participate in trade partner recruiting and vetting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
