Job summary

VAS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for Tank Farm Projects at the Hanford Site in Richland, WA. The role oversees major infrastructure and capital improvement work, coordinating with multiple teams to ensure safe, compliant execution.

You will lead planning, risk assessment, and contractor oversight across EPC and procurement activities, ensuring integration with ISMS and DOE requirements in a complex industrial setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or related field.
10+ years of relevant construction management experience.
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Manage EPC, capital improvement, and facility upgrade projects from initiation through completion.
Oversee fixed-price and time-and-material contracts with multiple subcontractors.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Environmental, Safety, Health & Quality, and project management teams.
Conduct routine field walkdowns and monitor contractor performance in the field.
Lead construction planning and pre-construction activities for successful execution.
Support constructability reviews, identify risks and opportunities before work begins.
Ensure ISMS compliance and safety procedures are followed on site.
