Job summary

Waste Treatment Completion Company (WTCC) seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to lead the mechanical/piping field operations at the Hanford site. You will supervise crews, coordinate schedules, and ensure installation work meets drawings and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering with extensive field exp. and the ability to obtain a DOE badge; night shifts and weekends may be required to support project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 8–10 years of field engineering or related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical (if at site), and background check.
• Must obtain a Department of Energy badge for Hanford Site access.
• Non-U.S. citizens from certain countries may face additional security requirements.
• Must perform field inspections and walk-downs in a heavy industrial environment.
• Extensive mechanical field installation experience in power/heavy industry.
• 5+ years using precision optics or laser trackers for large equipment installation.
• Experience with infield machining and complex shielding/drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical discipline activities, craft foremen and subcontractors.
• Coordinate priorities, schedules, and material needs with other disciplines.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and safety requirements.
• Lead safety programs and enforce zero-accident culture on site.
