Job summary

CTI on Hanford, WA is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for large-scale DOE, DoD, and commercial projects. You will ensure adherence to design, safety regulations, and schedules while coordinating with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or related field, 8+ years in government construction, OSHA 30-Hour, and a valid driver’s license. Background check is required for employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 8 years in construction management or supervisory roles, preferably in government contract environments (DOE, DoD).
• OSHA 30-Hour certification (required); First Aid/CPR (preferred); PMP or CM certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for large-scale DOE, DoD, and commercial projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety regulations, and timelines.
• Oversee all phases of construction, including planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution, in compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, ensuring efficient and safe operations on the project site.
• Coordinate daily work plans and resolve issues between trades to maintain steady progress.
• Manage and monitor structural steel and concrete work, aligning with project plans and quality expectations.
• Ensure safety protocols and OSHA regulations are consistently followed on-site, with regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Monitor project progress to ensure work complies with design, schedule, and budget.
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients; communicate and resolve scope changes.
• Conduct regular on-site meetings with stakeholders to align goals and deliverables.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior superintendents and site staff, fostering safety and efficiency.
• Manage quality control processes to meet high industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to manage costs, expenditures, and resource allocation.
• Lead for job site safety, quality control, and project schedule; liaise with managers and consultants on field issues.
• Supervise subordinate superintendents and coordinate with union leadership on staffing.
