Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) seeks a Construction Manager in the Construction & Development division, Delivery/Stations, based at 2 Broadway. You will lead the construction management team, ensure safety, and deliver major capital projects on time and within budget while coordinating with agency clients and stakeholders.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years of experience, plus strong leadership and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, PM, Business Administration, Transportation, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management team in the construction management process from start to finish.
• Review in-house designs for constructability in non-Design-Build projects.
• Monitor third-party design and construction activities for contract compliance.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary team delivering projects on schedule and budget.
• Ensure adherence to contract documents, standards, laws, and client requirements.
