Job summary

MTA Construction & Development is seeking a Senior Director of Project Management to oversee capital and operating project delivery across multiple units. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President, Deputy Project Executive and will coordinate with C&D, operating agencies, staff, contractors, and consultants to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget project execution.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction or related field and a minimum of 12

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Project Management, Business Administration, Transportation or related field.
• Minimum twelve (12) years of related experience.
• Minimum eight (8) years in management of construction programs/projects or supervisory role in a large organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and operating project delivery or a distinct facility program within the Delivery Department.
• Direct multiple technical staff and consultants to successful project outcomes.
• Coordinate project activities through close-out and monitor performance against baselines.
• Identify risks and issues and implement timely resolutions and mitigations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, operating agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with standards, safety, and quality requirements and manage project documentation and reporting.
