Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee utility and civil construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.

You will provide leadership and coordination between management and field operations to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and alignment with contract requirements and client expectations. Responsibilities include preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement coordination, and strong client liaison skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management, utility construction, civil construction, or infrastructure project experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors, schedules, and client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and designs for constructability and risk.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules with teams.
• Coordinate procurement, BOM verification, and material deliveries to site.
• Liaise with owner representatives, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Prepare progress, cost, and schedule reports and assist in change orders.
