Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee large projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance. You will staff, manage materials, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

The role may supervise one or more Project Managers on-site and requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The Construction Manager will budget, organize, implement, and schedule projects while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Five years in telecommunications or related construction field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Able to travel within branch/regional territory.
• Strong reading and interpretation of blueprints and specs.
• High school diploma or GED; bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, and supervise project staff.
• Plan, manage, and maintain project profitability and costs.
• Ensure accuracy in job cost postings and financial reports.
• Coordinate construction workers and subcontractors.
• Oversee projects from start to finish and ensure safety standards.
• Review schedules, deliverables, and risk mitigation.
• Interface with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare job status reports and manage scope changes.
