Job summary

Egis is seeking a Construction Manager for our Oklahoma City, OK office to lead project delivery, client coordination, and design oversight. You will guide a project team, review technical plans and cost estimates, and ensure quality control from start to finish.

The role calls for a Civil Engineering degree, PE or CCM, and 10+ years in construction/engineering management, with strong communication and CAD proficiency. This is an on-site position with growth opportunities within the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and strong knowledge of civil/traffic/aviation engineering concepts.
• PE with a Civil Engineer license or a CCM.
• 10+ years of combined experience in construction, design, engineering, and project management including managing projects and staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, assignments and pursuits.
• Primary client liaison and manage project team to deliver scope on schedule and within budget.
• Lead the development of project proposals and interview presentations.
• Interface with clients and create new business opportunities for the office.
• Lead a project team for preparing design documents, technical plans, and reports.
• Provide roadway design guidance and management across project lifecycle.
• Analyze, develop and evaluate design options using best engineering practices.
• Check construction plans, calculations, and cost estimates for accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control through plan and cost review.
