Job summary

Egis is seeking a Construction Manager in our Kansas City office to lead complex transportation projects from design through completion. You will manage scope, schedule and budgets while coordinating with clients and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design documents and roadway projects.

As the primary client liaison, you will mentor staff, develop proposals, and explore new business opportunities. A PE license or CCM and civil engineering expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and licensure as PE or CCM.
• 10+ years of combined experience in construction, design, engineering, and project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, assignments and pursuits.
• Primary client liaison and oversee project team to deliver scope on schedule and budget.
• Leads the development of project proposals and interview presentations.
• Interface with clients and create new business opportunities for the office.
• Leads a project team for the preparation of design documents, technical plans, and written reports on projects.
• Provide roadway design guidance with responsibility for all aspects of project and staff management.
