Job summary

APTIM seeks a Construction Manager for DOD POL Fuels contracts at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. You will support management and execution of fuels-related projects, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities include oversight of procurement, storage, distribution, and quality control, plus coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders to meet schedule, budget, and safety goals in a federal environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with DOD regulations governing fuels procurement, storage, distribution, and quality control.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices for fuels handling and storage operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required by DOD contracts.
• Experience in a military or federal government environment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to support project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of DOD POL Fuels contracts at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, including procurement, storage, distribution, and quality control.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in line with client requirements and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and DOD representatives to meet objectives within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation to ensure project success.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team, fostering a high-performing environment.
• Conduct inspections to assess safety compliance and quality standards.
