Job summary

APTIM is seeking a Construction Manager to join our DOD POL Fuels team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. You will support management and execution of fuels-related projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, procurement, and government representatives; overseeing schedules, budgets, safety inspections, and reporting to stakeholders. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with DOD regulations governing fuels procurement, storage, distribution, and QA.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills for coordinating diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to fuels handling and storage operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of DOD POL fuels contracts at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, including procurement, storage, distribution, and QA.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in line with client requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and DOD representatives to meet scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for project success.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a high-performing environment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
