Job summary

Schumacher Homes is seeking a Construction Manager to lead on-your-lot residential projects, coordinating trades and ensuring homes are built to high standards, on time and within budget.

You will work closely with customers, manage field personnel, and participate in pre-construction meetings to ensure homeowner satisfaction and quality outcomes.

Our Construction Manager:

• Must be proficient in understanding residential construction systems.
• Is responsible for working with the customer to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure the home is built with attention to quality, meeting building time expectations and exceeding homeowner satisfaction!
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participates in pre-construction meeting with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.

Requirements

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
• Technical construction knowledge to understand construction processes and terminology to assist in management of field personnel and systems.
• Computer experience – the ability to use technology (Smart Phone, iPad). Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
