Job summary

Schumacher Homes of South Carolina Inc in Ladson, SC is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the on-site build of luxury, customer-focused homes. You will coordinate trades, supervise field personnel, and ensure projects meet time, cost, quality, and homeowner satisfaction.

The role emphasizes residential construction knowledge, strong communication with customers, and proactive problem solving; experience with pre-construction activities and daily use of Outlook and mobile devices is

Qualifications

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience preferred.
• Technical construction knowledge to manage field personnel and systems.
• Computer experience using technology (Smart Phone, iPad) and Outlook for communication.

• Work with customers to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure quality, time and homeowner satisfaction.
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.

Our Construction Manager:

• Must be proficient in understanding residential construction systems.
• Is responsible for working with the customer to build their dream home, schedule trades and ensure the home is built with attention to quality, meeting building time expectations and exceeding homeowner satisfaction!
• Builds assigned homes within time, cost, quality and satisfaction standards.
• Participates in pre-construction meeting with General Manager, Customer Coordinators and homeowners.

Requirements

• Prior scattered-site residential construction experience (preferred).
• Technical construction knowledge to understand construction processes and terminology to assist in management of field personnel and systems.
• Computer experience – the ability to use technology (Smart Phone, I-Pad). Experience with Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
