Responsibilities
Monitor and manage safety, scope, cost, and schedule during construction.
Ensure construction adheres to applicable codes and specifications, company or industry standards.
Oversee onsite construction – monitoring safety, scope, quality, risk, schedule, and budget.
Report progress daily to the Manager of Electric Construction.
Supervise contract inspectors and resolve issues including material, construction, and scheduling conflicts.
Ensure as-built redline drawings are submitted to Engineering.
Accompany high-value asset transportation to and from company locations.
Perform soil erosion and sedimentation control inspections per Stormwater Management Certification protocol.
Skills and Qualifications
SESC – Storm Water Management Certification.
Knowledge of substation field and equipment operations.
OSHA and MiOSHA compliance experience.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
Planning and priority-setting skills.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
