Key Responsibilities
Act as Company representative to existing customers.
Manage existing projects: create submittals, workplans, reporting; responsible for project P&Ls and supporting payroll certification documents.
Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedule and confirm materials.
Interface with General Foreman to ensure safe, efficient and effective adherence to the job workplan and scope.
Develop estimates through review of drawings, specifications, site visits, subcontractor reviews and scope development meetings.
Accomplish construction objectives by scheduling, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and adhering to policies and procedures.
Meet construction operational standards by developing plans and schedules.
Meet construction financial standards by providing budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, implementing corrective actions.
Prepare construction projects by verifying estimates, drawings, specifications; establishing and disseminating schedules; awarding contracts; specifying materials and supplies.
Direct construction requirements by comparing construction results to plans and resolving problems.
Work well with PMs and assist on current projects with all related materials and equipment orders.
Provide construction progress reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing construction and budget data and trends.
Avoid legal challenges by understanding and enforcing regulations; recommending new procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
5 years of verifiable field experience (combination of field and office acceptable).
Complete knowledge of current electrical codes, standards and practices.
Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
Complete knowledge of job‑site safety requirements and OSHA standards and practices.
Proven computer proficiency with a strong aptitude for technical applications (proficient in MS Office, Google applications, project management software such as ESub and Procore, Adobe, and ability to learn and operate new software; experience with Bluebeam is a plus).
