Job summary

Turner is seeking a motivated Intern/Co-Op to support on-site construction projects in Philadelphia. You will work under Project Engineer/Project Manager supervision to gain hands-on exposure to construction management, safety, and coordination activities.

This role focuses on learning through practical tasks such as meetings, reporting, document control, and collaboration with subcontractors, Architects, and engineers, while developing professional skills in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited degree program, or co-op, with at least one year of study.
• Desire to learn construction management and related fields.
• Must be 18+ and able to work on a construction site.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reporting.
• Follow project site safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Assist with preparation of project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Attend project site visits and coordinate communications with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost-related tasks as assigned.
• Perform tasks at construction sites and office as needed.
