Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, invites you to join as a Construction Management Intern and gain exposure across construction management and related business lines. You will participate in project management, bidding, contract setup, estimators, and field operations with a vertically integrated team.

You’ll also work with asphalt plants, equipment, and shop operations while learning cost, workload, and basic P&L concepts. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Construction Management or Operations Management.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to project management for public and private projects.
• Learn bidding, contract setup, and working with estimators and project managers.
• Experience asphalt plant operations and general plant maintenance.
• Join construction crews and learn job setup and site preparation.
• Understand basic business and financial concepts like job cost and P&L.
