Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking an Intern - Aggregate Project Engineer to explore multiple facets of our aggregate mining business and related lines of business. The internship offers hands-on experience with project management, reporting, scheduling, and collaboration across departments.

You will engage with stakeholders, support capital projects, and learn document control, cost management, and the use of latest technology to improve efficiency and reduce emissions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work with key stakeholders to determine solutions to common issues.
• Assist Project Management team with monthly projections and capital projects.
• Learn administrative requirements of the business through hands-on experience.
• Support document control improvements and project reporting.
• Collaborate with multiple departments on special projects as needed.
• Assist in preparing reports for Senior Leadership.
