Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Intern/Co-Op to work on active construction projects, gaining foundational knowledge in construction management, business and project financial management, and safety protocols.

You will support the project team with coordination, reporting, and documentation, learn to review submittals and RFIs, and apply classroom knowledge on site while following Turner safety rules.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited degree program and/or co-op; minimum 1 year completed.
• Must be 18+ to work on site.
• Wants to learn construction management and build industry knowledge.
• Willing to work standard hours and overtime as needed.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project start-up activities and support engineers/managers.
• Support meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reporting.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings processing.
• Assist with procurement communications and subcontractor coordination.
• Attend site visits and document field activities.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
