Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a student intern to assist in day-to-day supervised activities related to developing knowledge in construction management, business and project financial management, safety protocols, subcontractor relations, quality control, and project coordination.

You will support the project team with meetings, reporting, and collecting information, while applying classroom learning to real-world construction projects at an active site in Bridgewater, MA.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university program with at least 1 year of education completed
• Desire to learn construction management and site operations
• Ability to read and comprehend written information

Responsibilities

• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
• Relate and apply knowledge from academic setting to project context.
• Assist with start-up activities and procurement-related tasks as directed.
• Attend site visits to observe field activities and document them.
• Communicate with Architects/Engineers/vendors/subcontractors as directed.
