Job summary

ARCO Companies is seeking a motivated Superintendent Intern to support our field team on diverse projects across commercial, industrial, and multi-family sectors in Irvine, CA. This internship offers hands-on experience under seasoned superintendents, with exposure to scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project lifecycle tasks.

As an intern, you will gain practical skills, contribute to safety and quality on site, and have a path toward full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree programs.
• GPA minimum 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Co-op or intern construction experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong work ethic.
• Current valid driver’s license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on jobsites across diverse projects (commercial, industrial, distribution, office, multifamily).
• Learn scheduling, subcontractor coordination and on-site project flow from experienced superintendents.
• Contribute to project tasks and lifecycle phases to support ARCO’s success.
