Job summary

Legence seeks a motivated Construction Management Intern/Co‑op to support its energy solutions team on commercial HVAC/mechanical systems projects. You will gain hands-on experience in pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities, working with seasoned managers, engineers, and project teams.

Some site travel may be required. This internship offers exposure to bid processes, scheduling, safety programs, and warranty coordination, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pre-construction activities including reviewing drawings for scope and constructability.
• Support subcontractor selection, bid processes, and RFP coordination.
• Help track contract requirements and M&V specifications.
• Assist with project scheduling, safety documentation, and meetings.
• Prepare weekly field reports and assist with pay applications.
• Participate in post-construction closeout and training activities.
