Job summary

NVR, Inc. offers a 12-week Construction Management Intern program in Frederick, MD, paying $22.00 per hour. This paid internship provides exposure across multiple business segments and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

You'll shadow a Project Manager, work with on-site subcontractors, interact with customers building their new home, and gain experience in Sales & Marketing, Land Research, Building Products, and Mortgage Banking.

Qualifications

• Highly driven with leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers and business partners.
• Currently enrolled in a college degree program, and preferably scheduled to graduate within 12 months of the internship.
• Current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Shadowing and assisting an experienced Project Manager in the field.
• Work directly with on-site subcontractors.
• Interact with customers building their new home.
• Work alongside the sales team and with our customers to understand the new home sales life cycle.
• Learn how industry leaders forecast and prepare for the future homebuilding activity in a growing metropolitan area.
• Get a glimpse into manufacturing operations with a tour of NVR's production plant and architectural design offices.
• Exposure to the home loan financing process.
