Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and 5+ years of related industry experience.
• Advanced knowledge in civil materials, structures, costing, estimating, scheduling, and project management.
• Experience with GPS, Total Stations and drones for instructional purposes.
• Commitment to teaching and learning.
• Ability to work with diverse staff and students with cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum course load each semester including early morning, day, and evening classes.
• Coordinate with instructors and programs on placements, curriculum, and academic support.
• Participate in course development, assessment, accreditation, and planning.
• Be willing to teach online and/or blended courses.
• Attend departmental meetings and recruitment activities; serve on committees.
• Assist students with academic advising.
• Assist with program responsibilities.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and learning.
• Support the college's mission and values.
• Teach at other campus sites as needed.
• Meet contractual obligations as per faculty contract.
