Job summary

Arcadis in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics operations, coordinate material flow, and manage warehouse support for large high-tech construction projects.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to align project teams, vendors, trades, and stakeholders while ensuring efficient material handling and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, materials management, or supply chain, preferably in semiconductor, construction, industrial, or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading logistics, warehouse, or materials coordination teams in a complex project environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, material tracking, inventory control, receiving processes, and logistics coordination within construction or manufacturing projects.
• Knowledge of semiconductor materials used in manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across multiple teams and stakeholder levels.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with inventory systems and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite logistics and warehouse coordination activities to support material receipt, staging, storage, tracking, delivery, and issue resolution for large high-tech construction projects.
• Manage and support the warehouse and logistics team in planning, organizing, and executing daily logistics operations in alignment with project schedules and site requirements.
• Oversee material tracking processes, inventory visibility, and reporting to ensure accurate status updates on deliveries, returns, shortages, excess materials, and critical path items.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, trades, project teams, and client stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, proper material handling, and efficient movement of materials across the site.
• Review logistics documentation, bills of lading, receiving records, and warehouse reporting for accuracy, and ensure discrepancies are identified, resolved, and escalated appropriately.
• Analyze returned, excess, or unused materials to determine opportunities for reuse, reassignment, or scrap disposition in accordance with site and project procedures.
• Proactively identify logistics risks, material constraints, and potential project impacts, and implement mitigation actions to minimize disruption to construction activities.
• Prepare and communicate logistics reports, status updates, metrics, and issue summaries to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive logistics process improvements by enhancing warehouse coordination, material flow, tracking systems, reporting practices, and cross-functional communication.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure logistics activities are executed in compliance with site requirements, project procedures, and applicable safety protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.
