Responsibilities

• Ensure shipping and warehouse processes are intact and cost-effective
• Coordinate incoming/outgoing movement, storage and security of materials
• Liaise with customers and logistics agents to coordinate delivery priorities and mutually beneficial schedules
• Ensure material availability to meet production schedules and resolve material issues to ship orders complete
• Set Final Assembly and transportation schedules based on production plan and delivery requirements
• Focus resources on continuous improvement of material movement through production processes
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the group in a production environment
• Train, instruct and direct work activities; coach for performance improvement
• Audit material receipt, movement and issue in ERP; ensure inventory accuracy
• Train and ensure safety of team members and enforce safety policies
• Monitor schedule to accomplish manufacturing goals
• Exercise independent judgment; fill-in as needed to meet production goals
• Other duties as assigned
