The role features high volume matters and autonomy in a non-partner track position.

Ideal candidates will have strong legal research and writing, experience drafting and arguing motions, and some deposition and trial exposure.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-approved law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions, some deposition and trial exposure.
• Mediation/arbitration and litigation of construction/design defect claims preferred.
• Proven track record in settling cases; prior team management is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Practice Group on single family housing matters.
• Handle a high volume of matters with autonomy in a non-partner track role.
• Advocate in arbitration rather than circuit court when applicable.
• Conduct discovery, draft motions, and participate in depositions and hearings.
