Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an attorney with 3 to 7 years of litigation experience to join the Litigation Department as Special Counsel in a Florida office. The role supports the Construction Practice Group on single-family housing matters.

This is a full-time, non-partner track position with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will have strong legal research and writing, experience with discovery, motions, depositions, and some trials.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-approved law school and active Florida Bar member.
• 3–7 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience with discovery, motions, depositions, and some trials.
• Preference for mediation/arbitration and construction/design defect litigation.
• Ability to manage a team of paralegals and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume litigation matters, primarily in arbitration.
• Support the Construction Practice Group on single-family housing matters.
• Litigation tasks including discovery, motions, depositions, and trials.
• Maintain strong organization and time management.
