Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP seeks an attorney with 3–7 years of litigation experience to join the Litigation Department as Special Counsel in our Florida office. This full-time, non-partner track role supports the Construction Practice Group on single family housing matters.

Candidates should be autonomous, with strong research and writing skills and a track record in discovery, motions, and some trial work. Experience in mediation, arbitration, and construction/design defect litigation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience drafting motions and conducting discovery.
• Some deposition and trial experience; mediation/arbitration preferred.
• Proven track record in resolving cases and managing teams of paralegals.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of matters in the Construction Practice Group.
• Support litigation efforts in arbitration and court proceedings.
• Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment; manage paralegals and staff as needed.
• Contribute to strategic case management and documentation.
