Jobot, a leading legal firm in Massachusetts, seeks a Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our team. This role requires 5+ years in litigation, a JD, and bar admission. Construction-law exposure is a strong plus as you handle high-stakes matters from pre-trial through appeal.

You will draft pleadings, conduct legal research, and advise clients on risks while coordinating with legal support for efficient case management. This is a demanding, high-ethics position.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school is required.
• Licensed attorney in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in litigation with trial focus.
• Construction industry experience is highly desirable.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage complex litigation from start to finish.
• Excellent negotiation and client management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all stages of litigation including pre-trial, trial, and appeal.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis for case preparation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Provide legal advice on litigation risks and strategies.
• Coordinate with support teams for efficient case management.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Stay updated on construction law changes and litigation trends.
• Participate in professional development to stay current.
