Aerotek is seeking a Construction Laborer Operator for caisson installation, with travel across the Western United States. Responsibilities

  • Lift and move forms, steel beams, rings, lumber, and other construction materials.
  • Assist with constructing and reinforcing steel cages for caisson and other projects.
  • Support concrete placement, pouring, patching, and finishing tasks.
  • Strip forms and perform site cleanup when projects end.
  • Assist crews with general labor duties while maintaining safety.

Construction Laborer Operator/ Caisson Installation
Location: Traveling in Colorado and TX
Must be in Colorado
Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour + 155 a day per diem

Schedule:

Typical 50-65 hours per week (40 hours minimum during winter months)

Travel:

50%+ travel throughout the Western United States

Join a well-established foundation and heavy construction contractor specializing in caisson installation, foundations, slabs, and structural concrete work. Projects typically range from one week to one month in duration, with some travel assignments lasting up to two months.

Responsibilities
  • Lift and move forms, steel beams, rings, lumber, and other construction materials.
  • Assist with the construction and reinforcement of steel cages used in caisson, pier, pad, and flatwork projects.
  • Support concrete placement, pouring, patching, and finishing activities.
  • Strip forms and perform site cleanup upon project completion.
  • Assist crews with general labor duties while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Construction labor
  • Concrete work
  • Demolition
  • Landscaping
  • Dirt work
  • Farm or agricultural labor
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials throughout 10+ hour workdays.
  • Comfortable working in extreme heat, cold, and other outdoor conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred, but not required.
Travel Requirements
  • Must be able to travel extensively throughout the Western U.S.
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be comfortable remaining on travel assignments for up to four months at a time without returning home.
  • Travel availability is a key requirement for this position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
