Aerotek in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Construction Laborer Lead for temporary liquid handling systems. Lead field crews in the installation, inspection, and maintenance of pumps, piping, and filtration across commercial and industrial sites.
You will train technicians, ensure safety, and oversee quality workmanship on projects such as dewatering and bypass systems. Daily leadership, hands-on assembly, and travel to multiple sites are required.
This role focuses on installing, inspecting, repairing, and servicing temporary liquid handling systems, including pumps, piping, filtration, and spill containment, across a variety of commercial and industrial job sites. You will meet at the shop each morning, assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment, and travel with a small crew to perform industrial installations and maintenance for projects such as construction site dewatering, sewer bypasses, flood relief, and industrial plant support. As a lead, you will combine hands‑on field work with day‑to‑day guidance and training of field technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality work.
You will join a stable, growing organization that offers a clear path from field roles into other career opportunities such as sales, procurement, customer service, and leadership. After six months, you may be considered for direct hire, providing longer‑term stability and growth. You will travel in company vehicles with your crew to a range of commercial and industrial construction sites, including large manufacturing projects, substations, power stations, and other industrial settings. The work is primarily outdoors and in active industrial environments, which may include exposure to dirt, mud, and sewage bypasses. The service area spans a wide region, and projects may require travel from one city to another; when overnight stays are needed, a per diem is provided. You will use a variety of hand and power tools, pumps, piping, and filtration equipment in the field, working in conditions that require physical stamina, situational awareness, and adherence to safety procedures.
