Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Construction Laborer to support paving and construction projects. The role involves various duties on-site, including handling tools, shoveling, raking, and assisting with trucks and pavers. Safety and adherence to OSHA/MSHA rules are required.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and prior construction experience. Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends may be needed.

• Ability to read, write and do basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Assist construction/paving crews with duties such as shoveling, raking, and wheelbarrow work.
• Support crew by backing/dumping trucks into paver and signaling equipment operators.
