We’re a local landowner and developer hiring a dependable and capable general laborer to join our team. The work involves site prep, loading, unloading equipment, clearing debris, assisting team members, and any other tasks directed by the project foreman. Compensation: $18 hourly

Responsibilities:

1. Assist onsite tradespeople and heavy equipment operators with plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other project tasks.
2. Load, unload, and prepare tools or materials to facilitate efficient work.
3. Clean the work site by removing tools, trash, and materials after construction.
4. Support your team throughout all project stages to ensure efficiency.
5. Dispose of debris, trash, or hazardous materials to prepare the site for construction.

Additional duties include:

• Performing physical labor related to new construction, demolition, and renovation.
• Assisting with forming and filling foundations.
• Demolition work.
• Preparing and installing door frames.
• General site cleaning.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Supporting other workers such as Electricians, Carpenters, Operators, and Superintendents.

Qualifications:

• Experience with construction equipment, forklifts, hand tools, and power tools is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engineering and construction labor methods; training will be provided.
• Physical agility, good hand-eye coordination, and balance are required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• At least one year of relevant construction labor experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, rules, and policies.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to use measuring devices such as tapes and gauges.
