Job Description
Educational and experience requirements include: High school diploma or GED; completion of apprenticeship program or related experience and/or training. Must be able to evaluate information using measurable standards and have basic competency in math, geometry, volumes, and weights. Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others are essential. Ability to read safety rules and instructions for equipment and tools, recognize and use proper hand signals for cranes and other equipment, follow specific instructions, and adhere to safety regulations are required.
Requires physical activities involving arms, legs, and whole-body movements such as climbing, lifting (up to 100 pounds), balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Regularly standing, walking, using hands for handling objects, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Occasional sitting. Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Must wear safety equipment such as shoes, glasses, gloves, and hard hats.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, humidity, moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and loud environments.
