Position Summary:

The Construction Laborer plays a vital role in Heavy/Civil Construction by performing diverse tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation. Emphasizing safety, reliability, and teamwork, this position ensures high-quality results and contributes to the success of construction projects in dynamic outdoor environments.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Safety policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses to ensure adherence to our core value – Safety first in everything we do.
• Understand and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Excavate by hand ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications using appropriate tools.
• Position, join, align, or seal structural components such as concrete wall sections or pipes.
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, and distribute them according to project plans or specifications.
• Complete equipment reports on rack trucks, compressors, etc.
• Understand and safely operate the tools and equipment used in construction tasks.
• Organize and maintain tool trailers in a neat and orderly fashion.
