Job summary

MasTec, Inc. in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking a CCL Journeyman to support craft teams on wind, solar, and BESS projects. The role emphasizes safety, proper tool use, and aiding with concrete, mechanical, and finishing tasks on site.

You will mentor apprentices and collaborate with other trades to keep projects on schedule, with variable hours and potential travel to other sites. The position requires a two-year apprenticeship and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety on site.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with craft workers on site on jobsites.
• Signal operators to guide equipment and load movements.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications with hand tools.
• Mix concrete or grout with a portable mixer.
• Finish poured concrete with float, trowel, or screed.
• Position and connect pumps, motors, and mechanical parts.
• Perform surface coatings or sealants as required.
• Assist other crafts and apprentices on site.
