Job summary

MasTec's Industrial division is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter to perform a variety of concrete formwork tasks, read blueprints, and set forms at elevations on heavy industrial sites. The role requires safety-conscious teamwork on multi-craft projects with strong attention to measurements and alignment.

This full-time position offers 50-hour weeks, up to 90% travel to project sites, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k and ESPP.

Qualifications

• 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Journeyman level role

Responsibilities

• Perform Journeyman level Carpentry work.
• Read and interpret measuring tools (tape measure, speed square, framing square).
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and diagrams to perform tasks accurately.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and location, prepare the base and install reinforcing.
• Experience in setting and erecting forms using various materials and forming systems for vertical and horizontal concrete forming.
