Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a construction laborer to assist other craft workers on jobsites, maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient site while supporting the overall project. You will perform physical labor, handle concrete work, assist with pumps and tools, and help train apprentices as needed.

The role requires following safety policies, flexing to extended hours, and potential travel to different sites on short notice. Prior experience on wind, solar, and BESS sites is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of a 2-year, DOL-accredited Construction Craft Labor apprenticeship program.
• Experience on wind, solar, and BESS construction sites preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using shovel or other hand tool.
• Mix concrete or grout using portable mixer.
• Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel or screed.
