This role centers on ensuring precise cost data and timely reporting across multiple projects. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years in construction/job-cost accounting, and proficiency with ERP systems (Sage 300 CRE preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of construction/job-cost accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP or job cost systems (Sage 300 CRE preferred).
• Strong motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments.
• Strong in report writing; familiarity with databases and system integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain jobs and contracts in the ERP system.
• Oversee compliance of accounting and job-related requirements on projects.
• Compile and analyze cost variances to verify accuracy and gauge project health.
• Support the monthly accounting close, including job cost checks, WIP, and margin reviews.
• Assist with project risk mitigation and contractual obligations.
• Maintain labor rates, pricing logs, and forecasting tools.
• Perform analysis and trend reporting on job performance and metrics.
• Partner with project teams to address questions and fulfill reporting needs.
