Job summary

Turner Construction Company is offering a Spring 2027 Construction Intern position in Memphis. The role provides hands-on experience at an active construction site, supporting project teams with coordination, documentation, and reporting while learning safety protocols and construction management fundamentals.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited program (engineering, architecture, or construction management) with strong communication skills and a willingness to engage in site

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university degree program or Co-op with 1 year of study completed.
• Desire to learn construction management and related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist on active project site with supervision.
• Support project engineer/manager with documentation, reporting, and coordination.
• Maintain safety protocols and proper PPE usage.
• Assist with shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and estimate changes.
• Attend site visits, meetings, and communications with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
