The role focuses on managing a book of business, ensuring retention, handling policy administration, renewals, billing, and service requests. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in account management, a P&C license (CIC preferred), strong communication and analytical

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Active property & casualty licensing required
• CIC or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to ensure retention and support new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues and ensure data accuracy, minimizing errors or omissions
• Renewals: conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals
• Accounts receivable: monitor reports and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data
