Job summary

The Jonus Group is hiring an Assistant Account Executive to join our construction insurance team in Dallas. In this role you will support a high-value book and help deliver exceptional client service by processing policies, renewals, endorsements, and related paperwork.

You will work in a family-oriented, collaborative environment with hybrid work after training and a focus on accurate underwriting analysis and timely communications with insureds and agents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in construction insurance.
• Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Proficiency in Applied EPIC and TAM software.
• Strong understanding of General Liability and Excess Policies in construction.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing a book of business valued at $20 million.
• Support renewal processes: renewal emails, document follow-ups, underwriting analysis.
• Process endorsements, policies, forms, and tax filings.
• Prepare proposals and create finance agreements.
• Maintain and update client records with accuracy and compliance.
• File documents and emails from insureds and agents.
• Occasionally make outbound calls to agents for follow-ups.
• Assist with quoting new and renewal business, focusing on renewals first.
