Qualifications

• High School graduate with 5 years of experience in construction welding inspections.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector with 5 years of related experience.
• Nondestructive testing (NDT) personnel qualified to ASNT.
• Coating inspection credentials and 2 years of experience in coating systems.
• Structural bolting inspection certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Perform welding inspections related to steel fabrication.
• Conduct coating inspections and testing on various systems.
• Visit construction sites and assist in problem resolution.
• Monitor contractor’s quality systems.
