Qualifications
- High School graduate with 5 years of experience in construction welding inspections.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector with 5 years of related experience.
- Nondestructive testing (NDT) personnel qualified to ASNT.
- Coating inspection credentials and 2 years of experience in coating systems.
- Structural bolting inspection certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
- Perform welding inspections related to steel fabrication.
- Conduct coating inspections and testing on various systems.
- Visit construction sites and assist in problem resolution.
- Monitor contractor’s quality systems.
