Job summary

Qualifications

• High level welding inspection experience on construction projects (federal facilities).
• Coating inspection experience with various systems and methods of application.
• ASNT/NACE/ SSPC or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Minimum five years of steel fabrication inspection experience.
• Experience with three-phase QC/inspection processes and safety plans.

Responsibilities

• Observe, inspect, and provide reports on construction projects for compliance with plans and specs regarding workmanship, materials, installation, and methods.
• Perform welding inspections on steel fabrication.
• Oversee coating inspection and testing of coating systems and applications.
• Review QA/safety plans and ensure contractor adherence.
• Deliver and review change orders, RFIs, submittals, and modifications.
