Job summary

TPD in Lancaster is seeking dynamic Construction Inspector Supervisors and Managers with a minimum of 5 years in civil construction inspection. The role focuses on daily on-site inspection across roadway, structural, ADA, and traffic signal elements, with leadership of inspection teams and on-site project representation.

Preferred candidates hold ACI/NECEPT or PennDOT concrete certifications and NICET II–IV; excellent communication and strong multi-project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site project representative.

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project complies with plans and specifications. Such as Roadway Inspection of earthwork, drainage, paving, etc.; Structural inspection of foundations, piles, concrete, deck formwork, MSE walls, sign structures, etc.; ADA Compliance Inspection of curb ramps and sidewalks, etc.; Traffic Signal Inspections.

• Supervise Inspection Teams

• Approve all on-site observations of construction progress, equipment, manpower, and materials on a Daily Inspection Report and various other reports required.

• Measure and record quantities for payment

• Prepare as-built drawings

• Serving as on-site project representative.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (not required)

• At least one or more of the following certifications are preferred: ACI, NECEPT or PennDOT concrete
