TPD is seeking experienced Construction Inspector Supervisors and Managers for multiple projects. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative mindset to operate in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (not required).
• One or more certifications preferred: ACI, NECEPT or PennDOT concrete.
• NICET Certification: II-IV preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure compliance with plans and specifications (roadway earthwork, drainage, paving; structural inspection; ADA compliance; traffic signal inspections).
• Supervise Inspection Teams.
• Approve on-site observations of progress, equipment, manpower, and materials on daily reports and other required reports.
• Measure and record quantities for payment.
• Prepare as-built drawings.
• Serve as on-site project representative.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

NICET Certification II-IV

ACI/NECEPT/PennDOT concrete

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong work ethic

Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Valid Driver’s License

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project complies with plans and specifications. Such as Roadway Inspection of earthwork, drainage, paving, etc.; Structural inspection of foundations, piles, concrete, deck formwork, MSE walls, sign structures, etc.; ADA Compliance Inspection of curb ramps and sidewalks, etc.; Traffic Signal Inspections.
• Supervise Inspection Teams
• Approve all on-site observations of construction progress, equipment, manpower, and materials on a Daily Inspection Report and various other reports required.
• Measure and record quantities for payment
• Prepare as-built drawings
• Serving as on-site project representative.

Job Requirements
