Job summary

TPD in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking Construction Inspector Supervisors and Managers with at least 5 years of experience for diverse roadway and structural inspections across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, a solid work ethic, and the ability to manage on-site teams while maintaining safety and quality standards. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; driver’s license and Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (not required).
• Certifications preferred: ACI, NECEPT or PennDOT concrete.
• NICET Certification II-IV preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a valid driver’s license.

• Provide daily inspection of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specs.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project complies with plans and specifications. Such as Roadway Inspection of earthwork, drainage, paving, etc.; Structural inspection of foundations, piles, concrete, deck formwork, MSE walls, sign structures, etc.; ADA Compliance Inspection of curb ramps and sidewalks, etc.; Traffic Signal Inspections.

• Supervise Inspection Teams

• Approve all on-site observations of construction progress, equipment, manpower, and materials on a Daily Inspection Report and various other reports required.

• Measure and record quantities for payment

• Prepare as-built drawings

• Serving as on-site project representative.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (not required)
